Lead Counselor - New Castle

Job Summary
Conduct weekly check-ins with new counselors during their first 90 days to document progress, identify training needs, and provide ongoing mentorship. Maintain caseloads per state regulations while assisting the Clinical Supervisor with auditing admission and discharge charts, developing Plans of Care, and ensuring accurate documentation of assessments and screenings. Provide oversight of treatment team meeting minutes, coordinate admissions and communication with local jails, and co-facilitate clinical supervision sessions. Participate in the emergency on-call rotation as required and attend management and treatment team meetings weekly to support care coordination. Maintain compliance with state licensure standards, CARF standards, and HIPAA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or human services
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
- At least 1 year in a substance use treatment setting
- Maintain working knowledge and compliance with state licensure standards
- Maintain compliance with all state, federal, certification, and licensure training requirements
- Maintain compliance with CARF standards
- Maintain compliance with 42 CFR
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Maintain compliance with all company policies
- Monday-Friday 5a-1:30p; rotating Saturday 6am-9am
