Job Summary
Lead all project cost control activities from mobilization through closeout, overseeing budgets, cost forecasting, earned value analysis, and financial reporting to ensure projects stay within approved limits. Develop and monitor cost codes, prepare executive dashboards and monthly management reports, and analyze variances to mitigate overruns. Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, and Finance teams to align progress with cost performance, review subcontractor payments and variation orders, and track change orders and claims. Mentor Cost Control Engineers while implementing improved reporting standards and ensuring compliance with client and company requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline
- 15+ years of experience in Cost Control within EPC, construction, infrastructure, or large-scale building projects
- Proven experience leading Cost Control activities for major construction projects
- Strong experience in residential, hospitality, commercial, or mixed-use developments
- Advanced knowledge of project budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, earned value management (EVM), and cost reporting
- Strong understanding of project contracts, change management, claims, procurement, and subcontract administration
- Experience using project control software such as Primavera P6, EcoSys, SAP, Oracle, Power BI, or equivalent systems
- Strong analytical, financial, and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Fluent in English
