Job Summary
Lead Cook responsible for cooking and preparing food to standard recipes, following production guidelines and food safety procedures. Will supervise staff, train on duties and safety, set up workstations, measure and prepare ingredients, operate ovens/stoves/slicers/mixers, and maintain quality and customer service. Must safely handle knives and equipment (grills, fryers, ovens, broilers), follow sanitation policies, and may contribute to production records. Strong knowledge of cooking methods, recipes, and food safety regulations; effective interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently with limited supervision; physical ability to perform job duties with potential lifting and walking. This role may involve shifts as assigned by Aramark and may vary by location.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a cook or related role required
- Food safety certification required
