Job Summary
Lead Cook at Pinehurst Country Club: Train, supervise and work alongside other cooks and staff in preparing, cooking, and presenting food to Pinehurst standards with safety and sanitation as top priorities, delivering a high-quality dining experience through food quality, value, and service. Responsible for mastering use of knives, broilers, ovens and other kitchen equipment; ensuring quality, taste, counts & weights, and appearance in accordance with Pinehurst standards; maintaining safe and sanitary procedures; labeling and proper storage; coaching line staff on cooking, safety, sanitation, and procedures; communicating with Chef/Designee; coordinating with Front-of-the-House and other departments; managing inventory as required; and participating in meetings, training, and location-driven rotations. Must be available to work across Pinehurst outlets and holidays as needed. Supervises culinary staff on shift and contributes to performance reviews. Physical demands include standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a high-temperatures kitchen environment. Education and experience align with a minimum high school/GED and two years in cooking with supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
