Job Summary
Lead Cook at KitchFix supporting the Texas Rangers in Surprise, AZ. Responsible for assisting with in-season food preparation for Spring Training, summer camps, and player development needs; prepare and cook meals to meet KitchFix and Texas Rangers standards; staff action stations (eggs to order, sandwiches, pastas, high-performance bowls); uphold food safety, allergen labeling, and temperature records; contribute to nutrition-focused meal planning and communicate with players, coaches, and staff; lead self and others under direction of the Sous Chef; stay current with culinary trends and maintain positive, collaborative kitchen culture.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years experience in a professional kitchen
- Food Handler/ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Able to work non-standard work week, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
- Ability to commute to Surprise, AZ
