Job Summary
Lead Cook responsible for preparing and cooking food to recipes and restaurant standards, maintaining food quality, consistency, portioning, and presentation; properly labeling, dating, and rotating stock per sanitation procedures; assisting with kitchen organization, prep work, and station setup; maintaining cleanliness and safety; accommodating guest dietary needs; assisting with inventory, ordering, and maintaining pars; monitoring equipment and reporting maintenance needs; supporting fellow kitchen staff during service, and fostering a positive, professional, team-oriented kitchen environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous line cook or lead cook experience required
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
