Job Summary
Lead food production by compiling orders, assembling menus, and managing supply ordering while maintaining accurate records and inventory levels within budgeted guidelines. Prepare meals for patients, families, and staff using standardized recipes, ensuring safe food storage and preparation with correct temperatures. Support the Nutrition Services Manager by assisting with staff scheduling, resolving employee conflicts, and performing daily cleaning of work areas and equipment. Collaborate with maintenance to ensure proper equipment function and make menu recommendations to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 0-6 months relevant experience
- High School or GED Equivalent
- ServSafe Certificate - National Restaurant Association
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- Ability to work the hours specified
- Ability to perform each essential job function satisfactorily
