Job Summary
Lead Conversational AI Developer responsible for end-to-end development of chatbots and virtual assistants. Work with cross-functional teams to design conversational flows, implement NLP/NLU, and integrate Generative AI to enhance responses. Develop and deploy chatbots across web, mobile apps, and messaging platforms, conduct thorough testing, monitor performance, and optimize user interactions. Requires strong experience with Azure Bot Framework v4 (Adaptive Dialogs, Waterfall Dialogs), backend development (C#, .NET, JavaScript), Azure Integration Services, Salesforce API integrations, Cosmos DB, and a track record of delivering scalable CAI solutions. Proactively stay updated on AI advancements and best practices, and demonstrate SDLC leadership for multi-environment deployments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of software development experience, preferably in conversational AI or chatbots
- Deep expertise in Azure Bot Framework v4 (Adaptive Dialogs, Waterfall Dialogs, middleware customization)
- Strong backend development skills (C#, .NET, JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
- Experience with Azure Integration Services (Azure Functions, Logic Apps)
- Experience with Salesforce API integrations (REST/SOAP) for Live Agent handoffs, knowledge base retrieval, and Case creation
- Experience configuring Azure Cosmos DB for storing conversation state and telemetry
- Experience implementing Hybrid AI strategies with Azure OpenAI/GPT
- Middleware familiarity (e.g., MuleSoft)
- Data-driven optimization with Power BI
- SDLC leadership and CI/CD for bot deployment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
