Job Summary
Lead Controls Turbine Training Instructor delivering world-class technical training to controls-upgrade customers; customize training material and simulation software for site-specific applications; run workshops and labs; coordinate with training coordinators, project managers, and engineers; manage training equipment, software licenses, and shipping; plan travel itineraries; deliver training across North America and globally; develop new training delivery techniques (cloud-based VMs, e-learning, AI applications); ensure compliance with HSE policies; require BS in electrical or mechanical engineering, 7+ years in power plant controls, strong customer-facing and technical leadership skills, proficient with Cimplicity, ToolboxST, MS Office, SAP; experience with MarkVIe/EX2100e and familiarity with nuclear/aero domains a plus; role includes regular travel and potential remote work. Required Qualifications
- BS degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- More than 7 years of experience in Power Plant controls engineering, field services and instruction
- Strong communication skills with passion for training
- Proficiency with Cimplicity, ToolboxST and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with SAP and Smartsheet
- Technical communication skills
- Awareness of HSE requirements within industrial environments
- Travel willingness to 50% to customer sites in North America
