Job Summary
Lead Controls Specialist responsible for the integration of controls into compressed air systems, collaborating with ACF Sales and Service teams on control projects from design to implementation, and assisting with installation and startup. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repair of compressed air system controls, providing emergency/unscheduled repairs, performing scheduled maintenance, system installation and commissioning, and reading/evaluating schematics and manuals. Must be skilled with controllers (IR product line and competitors), perform basic calculations, assist the Sales team during the sales process, use hand/power tools and meters, ensure safety and a clean job site, and travel to job sites with potential overnight trips. Requires strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, ability to interpret manuals, and the physical ability to work in varied conditions including non-climate-controlled environments; able to communicate clearly and operate heavy equipment as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent (GED)
- 5 to 7 years of related work experience or training or equivalent combination
- Motor Vehicle Record must be in good standing and comply with Company policy
