Job Summary
Lead Controls Specialist will integrate controls into existing or new compressed air system projects, collaborate with ACF Sales and Service teams from design to implementation, and assist customers during startup with installation and commissioning of quoted control systems. Responsibilities include mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and repair of compressed air system controls, performing emergency and scheduled repairs, control installation and commissioning, knowledge of IR and competitive controllers, reading electrical schematics and manuals, basic calculations, field evaluations and recommendations, providing application support to the Sales team, and ensuring safety and orderly job sites. Must be able to travel to job sites (overnight travel may be required) and operate hand/power tools, meters, and equipment. Requires ability to interpret manuals, perform preventative safety measures, and communicate instructions clearly. Skills in reading schematics, performing mathematical operations, and handling heavy work are expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent (GED)
- 5 to 7 years of related work experience or training or equivalent combination of both education and experience
- Motor Vehicle Record must be in good standing and comply with Company policy
