Job Summary
Lead engineer overseeing controls design and automation for material handling; designs, diagrams, PLC/SCADA, and HMI; deploys HMIs; analyzes data to improve performance; mentors engineering team; HR tasks such as performance reviews and timecard approvals; travel to U.S. customer sites 25-40%; telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering
- 7 years of experience in controls engineering
- 5 years of experience with design, inter-connection and configuration of PLCs systems
- 5 years of experience with Conveyor and Robotic Systems within material handling or manufacturing environments
- 7 years of experience in Electrical Design and Engineering
- 5 years of experience in Material handling or manufacturing
- 5 years of experience in PLC Programming including 5 years of experience in Allen Bradley and RSLogix 5000
