Job Summary
Lead control system design, configuration, and commissioning projects by interfacing with clients in design meetings and conference calls. Translate functional requirements into system architectures while programming controllers with Rockwell and Siemens platforms. Design electrical control cabinets and panels, then test configurations to verify functions. Own and lead projects with small to medium teams, assisting the project manager with scope changes and change orders. Serve as the technical contact for customers, adapting to new technologies and applying learned concepts to diverse industrial processes.
Required Qualifications
- 2-8 years of experience in automation
- As a minimum, must be at least proficient on one or more of the following platforms: Rockwell Controllogix
- As a minimum, must be at least proficient on one or more of the following platforms: Rockwell PlantPAx
- As a minimum, must be at least proficient on one or more of the following platforms: Rockwell FactoryTalk View/Studio
- Thorough understanding of control system design and coding
- Self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills
- B.S. in Electrical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering or Engineering Technology or related degree
Desired Qualifications
- Experience on other control system platforms is a plus.
