Job Summary
Lead control systems projects by defining functional requirements, designing network architectures, and configuring controllers using Rockwell and Siemens platforms. Translate system needs into electrical control cabinet designs, then test configurations to verify functions before commissioning at client sites. Interfacing with customers during design meetings and conference calls while leading less experienced engineers and managing scope changes. Requires 2-8 years of automation experience and proficiency in Controllogix, PlantPAx, or DeltaV.
Required Qualifications
- 2-8 years of experience in automation
- As a minimum, must be at least proficient on one or more of the following platforms: Rockwell Controllogix
- As a minimum, must be at least proficient on one or more of the following platforms: Rockwell PlantPAx
- As a minimum, must be at least proficient on one or more of the following platforms: Rockwell FactoryTalk View/Studio
- As a minimum, must be at least proficient on one or more of the following platforms: Emerson DeltaV
- Thorough understanding of control system design and coding
- Self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills
- B.S. in Electrical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering or Engineering Technology or related degree
Desired Qualifications
- Experience on other control system platforms is a plus.
