Job Summary
Define functional requirements, design, configure, and qualify Rockwell/FTBatch control systems while mentoring junior engineers. Lead teams of engineers and technicians to deliver state-of-the-art control solutions for process manufacturing, interfacing with clients in design meetings and conference calls. Develop life cycle documents, control panel, and network architecture drawings per GMP standards, redline P&ID drawings, and implement distributed control system configurations. Program Rockwell controllers and FactoryTalk Batch applications, design electrical control cabinets, and conduct on-site testing and commissioning. Travel to client sites for project meetings and system qualification.
Required Qualifications
- 2-7 years of experience in automation
- Platforms: Rockwell PLCs, PlantPAx, FTBatch
- Thorough understanding of control system design and coding
- B.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering or Engineering Technology
- Hands-on experience with current FactoryTalk Batch
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without RoviSys sponsorship
