Job Summary
Lead Consultant role within Ramboll's Health Sciences team focusing on industrial hygiene. You will support and lead workplace and environmental health assessments, exposure monitoring, and risk mitigation strategies for industrial and commercial clients, combining fieldwork, data analysis, client engagement, and technical reporting. Responsibilities include liaising with clients and regulators, contributing to proposals and scopes of work, mentoring junior staff, and delivering qualitative and quantitative exposure assessments, indoor air quality assessments, and microbial/water-related evaluations. Requires a Bachelor’s (or Master’s with relevant experience) in a related engineering or science discipline, 5+ years of industrial hygiene experience, travel up to 40%, and a valid driver's license. Hybrid work arrangement in Irvine or Los Angeles, CA with explicit US work authorization (no sponsorship). Salary range $90,437–$113,046 with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering (e.g., industrial hygiene, occupational safety) or science (e.g., chemistry, environmental science) discipline
- 5+ years of relevant industrial hygiene experience
- Master’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience accepted
- Willingness to perform field activities and travel up to 40%
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong quantitative/qualitative analysis skills
- Experience with fieldwork and technical reporting
- Current or pursuing professional industrial hygiene certification/licenses
- Ability to liaise with clients and regulatory agencies
- Ability to mentor and lead junior staff
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and word processing
- Effective written and verbal communication
