Job Summary
Lead Consultant, Cybersecurity responsible for delivering experienced cybersecurity support across multiple client engagements, guiding technical work on RMF/A&A, vulnerability management, system hardening, and security configurations, and producing written deliverables such as SSPs, SAR inputs, and POA&Ms. The role involves leading defined workstreams, coordinating with project managers and clients, developing technical reports and briefings, and contributing to proposals and capability development, while traveling as needed. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years of cybersecurity experience, and the ability to obtain and maintain an active security clearance; professional certifications are preferred. This position is based in Washington, DC with remote work options and government contract considerations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, engineering, or equivalent STEM discipline; equivalent experience may be considered
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity, RMF, system security engineering, information assurance, or related fields
- Must have or be able to get and maintain an Active Security Clearance
- Professional certification preferred (e.g., CASP+, CySA+, SecurIT+, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CGRC)
