Job Summary

Develop and execute training programs for HR Business Partners and managers on compensation initiatives; lead formal education sessions and present recommendations based on departmental needs. Oversee the market data process by gathering, submitting, and analyzing data to proactively evaluate pay trends and metrics, presenting findings to HR leadership. Research federal, state, and local compliance issues including wage and hour laws and IRS regulations, conducting FLSA reviews and recommending policy updates. Create base pay strategies, policies, and programs while leading annual salary planning and maintaining salary structures. Operate as a trusted advisor to executives and business leaders, identifying and solving complex compensation issues. Mentor, coach, and train other team members to contribute to department growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a compensation professional
  • Completion of World at Work coursework
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional ability to focus on key issues, research, gather, and integrate information from a variety of sources to develop sound recommendations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and the ability to interact with executive presence
  • Exceptional ability to develop logical and compelling PowerPoint presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients, finding common ground in completing tasks and solving problems
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Highly organized
  • Experienced at successfully multi-tasking
  • Driven to learn and stay current professionally

  • Experience creating base pay strategies, policies, and programs
  • Experience leading annual salary planning and maintenance of salary structures
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a trusted advisor to executives, managers, business leaders, and HR Business Partners, identifying and solving complex compensation issues
  • Experience operating as an innovative thought leader with the ability to mentor, coach, and train other team members while contributing meaningfully to department growth
