Job Summary
Lead, supervise, and mentor a crew of one to two plumbers on third-shift projects, overseeing all phases of work including plumbing finishes, underground systems, gas piping, and storm drain installation. Read blueprints, coordinate nightly tasks to meet deadlines, and ensure all work complies with codes while maintaining a clean, safe job site. Operate company tools, equipment, and vehicles responsibly. This full-time role includes overnight stays for local and out-of-town assignments with guaranteed 40 hours, shift premium pay, and a company vehicle. Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a journeyman or lead plumber
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate a small crew
- Extensive hands-on experience with finish plumbing and layout plumbing
- Extensive hands-on experience with underground systems and storm drainage
- Extensive hands-on experience with sewer scoping, jetting, and machine cleaning
- Extensive hands-on experience with gas piping systems
- Extensive hands-on experience with commercial sink installations and water heater systems
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on third shift
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
- A valid driver's license and clear driving record
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
