Job Summary
Lead and supervise commercial electrical crews on construction and renovation projects, assigning daily tasks and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. Read blueprints, coordinate manpower and materials, and install conduit, switchgear, transformers, panels, and lighting systems while troubleshooting complex electrical issues. Conduct daily safety meetings, perform quality control inspections, and mentor apprentices to ensure installations meet NEC and OSHA standards. Maintain accurate daily reports, track materials, and coordinate with other trades to minimize delays. This role requires a minimum of seven years of commercial electrical experience and the ability to work overtime and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of commercial electrical experience
- Minimum 2 years leading electrical crews as a Leadman or Foreman
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Proven experience reading blueprints and coordinating installations
- Advanced conduit bending skills (EMT, RMC, PVC)
- Experience installing: Switchgear
- Experience installing: Transformers
- Experience installing: Motor Controls
- Experience installing: Lighting Systems
- Experience installing: Electrical Panels
- Experience installing: Feeders
- Experience installing: Branch Circuits
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to plan work and delegate responsibilities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary
- Must pass a drug screen and pre-employment background check
- Successful completion of Basic Plus Safety Orientation

- TWIC Card
- Basic Orientation Plus (BOP)
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Experience with: Commercial generators
- Experience with: Backup power systems
- Experience with: Fire alarm systems
- Experience with: Low-voltage systems
- Experience with: Building automation controls
- Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software
- Ability to estimate labor hours and material needs
