Job Summary
Lead a 2-3 person crew through commercial-scale coatings projects, directing daily workflows and training installers. Oversee job site setup, surface preparation, mixing, and precision application of commercial coating systems while coordinating material logistics. Act as the primary on-site point of contact for general contractors, property managers, and clients to ensure professional communication. Maintain a pristine, accident-free workspace and perform rigorous quality checks to ensure jobs pass inspection on the first attempt. Efficiently track crew time, manage material inventory, and update project management software. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 100 pounds repeatedly, and experience leading field crews.
Required Qualifications
- Proven, above-average technical competence in commercial coatings/epoxy installation
- Prior experience leading or mentoring a field crew
- A valid driver's license
- A clean driving record
- A reliable vehicle
- Ability to safely drive a truck and trailer
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 100 pounds repeatedly without restriction
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to kneel/bend repeatedly
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable using technology (email, apps) to track job progress
