Job Summary
Serve as the direct contact with kids and families to ensure a safe and fun experience on the field. Plan practice drills using provided resources and curriculum, then lead both participants and other coaches through engaging program drills. Consistently transition between drills to maintain player engagement and coordinate volunteer support to prevent downtime. Lead pre-game and post-game huddles emphasizing sportsmanship and mindfulness, while managing weekly field setup and cleanup. Provide guidance to volunteers regarding drills and roles, and address any issues arising with parents, players, or venues. Report player, parent, referee, or coach issues to the site lead.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of coaching or teaching
- Attend mandatory staff training
