Job Summary

Lead Co-Worker Health RN coordinates Co-Worker Health processes and procedures, collaborates with Co-Worker Health leaders and staff, Workers’ Compensation, Infectious Disease, and other departments; leads day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the Co-Worker Health team, ensures regulatory compliance, oversees drug and alcohol screenings, coordinates with leadership and staff to maintain policies, communicates updates to Mercy work groups, ensures PPE/training availability, represents Co-Worker Health on committees, leads immunization education, maintains forms/documentation, processes new hire paperwork, and provides preventive health services to co-workers and volunteers; serves as ReadySet Superuser/Trainer and manages inventory and supply ordering; performs related duties as assigned and supports cross-department collaboration (Infectious Disease and Workers’ Compensation) to protect co-workers and patients.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of a state-approved nursing school.
  • Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the appropriate state.
  • Experience: Two years as an RN.
  • Certification/Registration: Three years clinical experience and current Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
