Job Summary
Maximize CNC lathe capabilities through high-level programming and setup using Esprit or Mastercam software to meet customer specifications. Set-up machines for consistent precision part production and maintain optimal machine performance. Apply extensive knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and materials while interpreting blueprints and using precision measuring tools. Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Minimum 5+ years of experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience programming and setting up CNC lathes
- Proficiency with Esprit CAM software (or similar CNC programming platforms)
- Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills
- Extensive knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and materials
- Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring tools accurately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
