Job Summary
The Lead, CMF (Color, Materials, and Finishes) Designer will set the vision for the development and coordination of color, material, and finish designs for both interior and exterior of upcoming vehicles. Responsibilities include designing and developing color/materials, coordinating master sample releases, evaluating color, texture, and finishes, and maintaining awareness of relevant trends in design. The position requires strong leadership skills to guide a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders, alongside expertise in the manufacturing process for CMF and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of CMF OEM experience
- Ability to guide, lead, and inspire a growing team
- Eager mentor and capable educator
- Experience with OEM industrialization
- Expert in the Manufacturing process for CMF
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Orderly and organized
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Microsoft office
- Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015)
Desired Qualifications
- Visualization (VRED, Keyshot, Maya...)
- CAD
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must reside within Dallas TX or have a reasonable driving commute to Justin, TX
- Willing to relocate
