Lead Club Leader (AM Shift)

Job Summary

Conduct daily on-site program leadership for clubs of 10 to 1 (TK-K) or 20 to 1 (1st-12th grade), ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for participants. Serve as the primary point of contact for partner and parent communication, managing regular updates, individual student reports, and timely emergency responses. Develop and lead age-appropriate, engaging activities aligned with whole-child approaches while monitoring attendance and active participation. Collaborate with colleagues and school partners to plan culminating events and showcase student accomplishments. Maintain student attendance records, request required materials within budget, and comply with all safety protocols and emergency procedures. Participate in mandatory staff development training and may attend off-site field trips. Work morning shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM, reporting to the Enrichment Coordinator.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience working in expanded learning programs or youth recreational facilities
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • AA Degree in Child Development or a related field
  • Prior experience working with groups of K-12 students in an academic or recreational setting
  • Work well with young children and/or youth
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Computer literacy and willingness to learn
  • Valid LIVE Scan
  • TB Clearance
  • CPR Certification
  • Must successfully pass an assessment test evaluating skills in math, reading comprehension, and spelling
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
