Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices. Manage Kubernetes (GKE) environments, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins, and monitor infrastructure health through observability and incident response. Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to support analytics platforms built on Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, and BigQuery while modernizing hybrid infrastructure including legacy Windows Server, Oracle, and AWS environments. Improve identity and access management by implementing modern authentication solutions and detect infrastructure drift to ensure secure, reproducible, and cost-efficient environments. Mentor engineers and promote DevOps best practices across development, staging, and production. This role supports a global insights firm delivering data-driven strategies for entertainment, media, and gaming brands.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Advanced experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, including state management and drift detection
- Production experience managing Kubernetes environments
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, and infrastructure automation
- Experience supporting hybrid environments combining modern cloud infrastructure with legacy Windows and database platforms
- Scripting experience with Python or Bash
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Advanced English communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- AWS or Azure experience if willing to ramp up on GCP
- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or Windows Server administration
- Experience with Auth0, OIDC, or modern identity management solutions
- Knowledge of FinOps or cloud cost optimization practices
- Experience supporting large-scale analytics or data platform infrastructure
- Previous experience mentoring engineers or leading DevOps initiatives
- GKE preferred
