Job Summary
Lead Cloud & DevOps Engineer to build and operate a scalable AWS data platform for a large telecom client. Design and implement multi-account AWS infrastructure, IAM and networking patterns; develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC using Terraform; integrate with Databricks/Snowflake deployments; enable observability with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, and Datadog; enforce secure access controls (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager) and data-security measures; drive operational reliability, performance, and cost optimization; produce runbooks and handover materials for client IT teams. The role emphasizes hands-on cloud engineering, release engineering, and platform operations in regulated environments, with strong collaboration across Data Engineers, BI Consultants, Governance leads, and security stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer experience
- AWS expertise
- Terraform or IaC
- CI/CD pipelines
- Databricks/Snowflake deployments (preferred)
- Security and governance in regulated environments
- Observability and monitoring tools familiarity
