Job Summary
Manage the in-house Clinical Team at Barton School while delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles of need, including autism, developmental trauma, and SEMH. Coordinate line management of the onsite clinical team and lead service development alongside the Senior Leadership Team and Regional Clinical Lead. Prioritize meeting EHCP plans through target-led clinical ways of working, fostering pupil independence within a multidisciplinary setting. Work collaboratively with education teams to maintain a person-centred approach and safeguarding culture for children aged 5–19.
Required Qualifications
- Allied Health Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- A Registered Practitioner with the HCPC
- Valid and up to date professional Registration & membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
- Experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs
- Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
- Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work dynamically and within a growing and developing clinical service
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred
