Job Summary
Lead the in-house Clinical Team at Papworth Hall School while managing a therapy caseload for students with complex needs related to autism, developmental trauma, and SEMH. Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and Regional Clinical Lead to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans, ensuring EHCP targets are met through targeted clinical ways of working. Coordinate line management for onsite staff and drive service development for the school-based clinical service. Work independently within a multidisciplinary environment to foster pupil independence and maintain a strong safeguarding culture.
Required Qualifications
- Allied Health Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- A Registered Practitioner with the HCPC or other approved governing body
- Valid and up to date professional Registration & membership of professional body e.g. BPS
- Experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs
- Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
- Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work dynamically and within a growing and developing clinical service
