Job Summary
Lead the in-house Clinical Team at Papworth Hall School by managing therapy caseloads and delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex autism, neurodivergence, and SEMH needs. Coordinate line management for onsite staff, lead service development alongside Senior Leadership, and ensure EHCP plans are met through targeted clinical working. Provide supervision to the team, maintain clear clinical reporting, and foster a person-centred approach that prioritizes pupil independence and safeguarding. Work dynamically within a multidisciplinary network to enhance quality of life for children aged 5–16.
Required Qualifications
- Allied Health Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- A Registered Practitioner with the HCPC or other approved governing body
- Valid and up to date professional Registration & membership of professional body e.g. BPS
- Experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs
- Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
- Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work dynamically and within a growing and developing clinical service
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred
