Job Summary
Manage the in-house Clinical Team at Papworth Hall School by delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex needs related to autism, neurodivergence, and SEMH. Coordinate line management of onsite staff, lead service development alongside the Senior Leadership Team and Regional Clinical Lead, and ensure EHCP plans are met through target-led clinical ways of working. Split responsibilities between clinically leading the team and maintaining a therapy caseload while fostering independence within an education setting. Work collaboratively with the school's SLT to maintain a person-centred, empowering approach that prioritizes pupil welfare and safeguarding.
Required Qualifications
- Allied Health Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- A Registered Practitioner with the HCPC or other approved governing body
- Valid and up to date professional Registration & membership of professional body e.g. BPS
- Experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs
- Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
- Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work dynamically and within a growing and developing clinical service
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred
