Job Summary
Lead the in-house Clinical Team at Papworth Hall School by managing therapy caseloads and delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex autism, neurodivergence, and SEMH needs. Coordinate line management of onsite staff, lead service development alongside the Senior Leadership Team and Regional Clinical Lead, and ensure EHCP plans are met through target-led clinical ways of working. Provide supervision and support to the therapy team while maintaining a person-centred, empowering approach that prioritizes pupil involvement in decision-making. Work collaboratively with multi-professional services to enhance quality of life outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Allied Health Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- A Registered Practitioner with the HCPC or other approved governing body
- Valid and up to date professional Registration & membership of professional body e.g. BPS
- Experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs
- Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
- Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work dynamically and within a growing and developing clinical service
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred
