Job Summary
Manage the in-house Clinical Team at Dibden Park School by delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with autism, neurodivergence, and SEMH needs. Coordinate line management of the onsite clinical team, lead service development alongside the Senior Leadership Team, and ensure EHCP plans are met through target-led clinical ways of working. Split responsibilities between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload while collaborating with the Regional Clinical Lead. This permanent role requires a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with at least two years of post-qualification experience in a child or education setting. The position offers a salary of £50,000–£60,000 FTE plus a £3,000 welcome bonus, with a 37.5-hour week from Monday to Friday.
Required Qualifications
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Valid and up to date professional Registration & membership of professional body e.g. BPS
- Minimum 2 years post qualification experience preferably in a child/ education setting
- Experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs
- Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
- Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work dynamically and within a growing and developing clinical service
- Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
