Lead Clinician I/II Emergency Services ***INTERNAL ONLY***

Job Summary

Oversee daily operations, coordinate crisis intervention, triage non-emergency intakes, and provide brief case management for adults, youth, and individuals with behavioral health disorders. Deliver individualized coaching to direct service staff, mentor student interns, and facilitate communication between teams, hospitals, law enforcement, and community partners. Monitor adherence to clinical standards, prepare reports, manage client files, and interface with first responders and medical providers in office and community settings. Work holidays, weekends, and evenings with a 6.25% differential, reporting to Program Supervisory staff. Requires current VA LCSW, LPC, LCP, or LMFT license with an advanced degree.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree with major course work in social work, counseling, psychology or related field
  • Current VA license as LCSW, LPC, LCP or LMFT
  • Advanced degree in social work, psychology, or counseling
  • Valid driver's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • At least two years post-graduate experience in service delivery with children and/or adults experience mental health needs

  • Licensed eligible candidates
  • Considerable experience working with clients with behavioral health and/or developmental disabilities in a behavioral healthcare setting
