Job Summary
Lead the scientific strategy for the Nutrition Therapeutic Area by championing new product ideation, managing medical activities, and engaging key thought leaders. Execute the scientific plan through disease education, evidence generation, and regulatory dossier preparation for FSSAI filings. Translate health trends and data insights into strategic plans while collaborating on clinical studies and publishing research. Respond to scientific inquiries from healthcare professionals and ensure all promotional and educational materials comply with FSSAI, Drugs and Cosmetic Act, and internal policies. This majority office-based role involves 5 to 6 days of field visits and occasional weekend work to support optimal patient outcomes and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- M.Sc., PhD in Clinical Nutrition
- 12+ years experience as clinical nutritionist in food or consumer industry
- experience in New product ideation and launches
- Experience in a food or consumer industry essential
- Must be well versed with FSSAI regulations and Drugs and Cosmetic Act regulations pertaining to clinical trials and new drug/nutritional product approvals and claims

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in new product ideation and development preferred
- Strong academic record with deep knowledge of the therapeutic area
- strength in research with knowledge of research methodologies and interpretation of medical data
- Training in medical writing, clinical trial methodologies, research design and ICH – GCP will be added advantage
- Experience with complex business environments preferred
- Strong track record of success as demonstrated through annual performance ratings and/or professional accomplishments and awards
