Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Full Time, Day Shift

Oversee all laboratory testing, coordinate point of care testing, and review the validity and accuracy of test results. Establish test performance characteristics, evaluate new instrumentation and procedures, and conduct training programs for medical technicians and students. Manage staffing, resolve employee complaints, and recommend promotions or reassignments. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards while overseeing quality control, quality assurance, and preventive maintenance activities. This full-time day shift role reports to a supervisor at a 50-bed acute care medical center in Ukiah, CA. Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist license and ASCP certification are required.
