Job Summary
Lead transportation electrification planning studies for government and utility clients while developing forecasts of electric vehicle sales and market penetration. Analyze locations for charging infrastructure and evaluate strategies to reduce emissions from various transportation sources. Stay current with the electric vehicle market, including trends, policies, and key players, and lead the development of communications, outreach, and training resources. Interact with clients and supervise staff execution of tasks and projects. This role supports the development of critical programs for next-era transportation and energy policies within a global advisory team.
Required Qualifications
- Existing knowledge of and experience working with government and utility on-road electric vehicle programs
- Bachelor's degree in transportation, environmental studies, energy, public policy, or a similar field
- 8+ years' work experience in clean transportation, including electrification and hydrogen applications
- 2+ years' experience in directing, leading, planning, and managing clean transportation projects
- Experience in transportation electrification, including EV technologies and charging infrastructure
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in transportation, environmental studies, energy, public policy, or a similar field
- 6+ years' work experience in clean transportation, including electrification and hydrogen applications
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel and R
- Familiarity with the development and delivery of fleet electrification programs
- Familiarity with other low carbon transportation fuels
- Experience with transportation carbonization studies
- Experience with government and/or commercial business development
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under strict deadlines
- Flexibility and sound business ethics
