Job Summary
Lead Civil Structural Engineer accountable for overseeing the project lifecycle from conceptual design to field support, delivering robust civil and structural designs for foundations, supports, pipe racks, modular skids, and platforms; collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams; mentor junior engineers; prepare scope of work, technical specifications, and drawings for bid packages; engage with suppliers and contractors to resolve design and construction issues; provide field support and evaluate existing systems; review RFIs and submittals, participate in final design coordination meetings, and ensure adherence to design specifications; promote a strong safety culture and support proposal development with material and labor estimates; in-office work at our headquarters in Katy, TX; no visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in gas treatment and/or natural gas structural design
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills for client and vendor interactions
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and mentor junior staff
- Knowledge of current codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Preferred: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Preferred: Direct experience interfacing with clients and vendors
