Job Summary
Lead Civil Engineer responsible for technical leadership and project delivery across municipal infrastructure, transportation, utility, and land development projects. Act as Engineer of Record, mentor Engineers-in-Training, support business development, and guide RAM's civil engineering practice. Responsibilities include leading a team of civil engineers, performing design reviews and IFC documentation, conducting field reviews and site assessments, preparing technical reports and cost estimates, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and performing engineering analysis using Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HY-8, and PCSWMM. Requires Bachelors in Civil Engineering, P.Eng. (EGBC/APEGA), and 10+ years of experience with a focus on infrastructure; strong writing, client engagement, and leadership skills. Compensation is USD 105k-115k with additional benefits; located in Vancouver, BC, Canada; in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with EGBC and/or APEGA
- 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Experience acting as Engineer of Record and providing technical oversight
- Strong communication, presentation, and client relationship management abilities
