Lead Civil Engineer - Hungarian Speaking

Job Summary
Lead civil engineering scope for Waste-to-X projects within a civil consortium or EPC package; coordinate civil design interfaces with consortium partners, subcontractors, internal teams, clients, and authorities; manage design activities during procurement and execution for civil, structural, geotechnical, architectural, and infrastructure packages; ensure collaboration across disciplines and stakeholders; support civil procurement packages and respond to technical queries; report project progress to management and operations while assisting in claim management; travel up to 10% for coordination and execution; fluent in Hungarian and English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in EPC, construction, or large industrial projects as a Design Engineer
- Proven experience delivering projects in Hungary and/or the Central and Eastern European region with knowledge of local regulations and standards
- Experience with structural design software and 3D BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit and Navisworks
- Fluent in Hungarian and English; strong communication and negotiation skills
