Job Summary
Lead Civil Engineer in our Energy team based in Brisbane, delivering civil leadership across wind, solar and BESS projects in Queensland. Oversee planning, design, and coordination of civil infrastructure (access roads, pavements, hardstands, drainage), advise clients on complex projects, work with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges, and apply advanced analytics to enhance performance while aligning with Australian standards and client requirements. Share and implement practical, buildable solutions to support renewable-energy delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant engineering qualifications and experience in Civil Engineering
- Demonstrated experience delivering civil design for renewable energy projects, particularly Wind, Solar and/or BESS developments.
- Strong expertise in civil infrastructure design, including access roads, pavements, hardstands, earthworks, and drainage.
- Sound understanding of relevant Australian standards, design guidelines and client requirements in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- A track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
