Job Summary
Lead and coordinate civil and structural engineering activities within a Joint Project Team for a major 3 Basin remediation project in Plymouth. Define project requirements, prepare technical specifications, and manage detailed design activities. Review and approve drawings, method statements, and risk assessments while providing technical supervision of construction and deconstruction works. Support commissioning and decommissioning activities, respond to RFIs and technical queries, and contribute to project optioneering. Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards. This onsite role requires SC clearance and is part of Assystem's global top 3 nuclear engineering organization, working across the full decommissioning lifecycle in the UK.
Required Qualifications
- UK National with SC Clearance
- Demonstrable suitable qualifications and experience relating to marine and mechanical engineering
- Accredited Degree in an appropriate 'STEM' discipline (or equivalent qualification and experience)
- Experience of developing design assurance for complex projects
- Experience in civil engineering for complex projects
- Experience in stakeholder engagement throughout the engineering lifecycle
