Job Summary
Collect fees from parents and maintain all bookkeeping records while overseeing the Project SCOPE elementary school program in coordination with the office and principal. Meet the needs of each child with dignity and respect, establishing a positive liaison between families and students. Assume an equal share of housekeeping responsibilities with staff, attend meetings, participate in training, and support school rules. Work a split shift from 7am to 10:30am and 2:30pm to 6pm, lifting up to 50 pounds. Hold 60 college credits in child care, teaching, or a related field, and complete required online Gateways training and CPR/First Aid certification provided by Project SCOPE.
Required Qualifications
- Highly interested in school-age children
- Warm, positive attitude and an ability to relate with children and adults
- Willingness to fulfill the program goals
- Degree in Child Care, teaching or related area of study
- 60 college credits
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work a split shift 7am-10:30am / 2:30pm-6pm
