Job Summary
Lead a classroom for 4- to 5-year-old children, developing a careful and creative program suitable for their age group. Use a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media) to teach and guide children, observe and support social development, help children build self-esteem, and promote interaction and conflict resolution. Plan and supervise nap and snack times, track progress, and regularly communicate with parents. Collaborate with other educators, maintain a clean, safe classroom, and contribute to curriculum delivery and growth opportunities for both students and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- CDA, degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
- 1-2 years experience working in a licensed childcare facility
