Job Summary
Lead Chef for Indian Rocks Eats overseeing daily lunch service for 1,500+ students and staff; contribute to Fueling for Excellence athlete nutrition program; support catering events, family dinners, and community gatherings; maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and safety; foster a positive kitchen culture through teamwork, leadership, and mentorship; assist with kitchen organization, prep coordination, and recipe scaling; operate in a purpose-driven culinary environment aligned with church ministry and community service; requires 4–6 years of culinary leadership in a fast-paced kitchen and proficient use of Google Docs/Sheets.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of culinary leadership or high-volume kitchen experience
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Basic knowledge of Google Docs/Sheets and recipe scaling
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Church membership and lifestyle expectations including active involvement with Indian Rocks Church and regular attendance in worship services and groups
