Job Summary
Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized interventional and neuro-interventional procedures, including administering contrast via power injector and assessing patient risk for allergic reactions. Operate imaging equipment and associated systems while verifying clinical history and completing pre- and post-procedural documentation. Coordinate work assignments and on-call schedules, and support research and process improvement projects within the department. Provide input to leadership regarding hiring and annual performance appraisals. Requires ARRT accreditation, BLS and ACLS certification, and two years of radiology experience with surgery.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT accredited institute
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
- Certification and Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- 2 years of experience in radiology
- surgery experience in use of CR
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
- Certification in Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography
- Certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiology
- State Licensure
- EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience
- Picture archival communication system (PACS) experience
