Job Summary
Negotiate supplier contracts and manage relationships for purchased components including tires, paint, and rubber. Lead year-over-year productivity and working capital initiatives by collaborating with engineering, operations, and finance to execute sourcing strategies. Analyze procurement markets and conduct tender benchmarks to optimize costs and drive continuous improvement across global purchasing plans. Manage complex large-scale projects and implement world-class sourcing processes while maintaining strategic oversight of supplier development and scorecards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3 years of strategic sourcing experience including supplier selection, supplier management, contract negotiations etc.
- Minimum 3 years of category strategy or material field strategy experience
- Knowledge of procurement and sourcing techniques and strategies, supplier integration, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Has special knowledge in the relevant areas of responsibility, ideally in outdoor equipment and/or power tools
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful YOY productivity projects
- Computer skills (MS Office)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Effective leadership & facilitation skills demonstrated
- Strong Project, Program management and Problem-solving skills required
- Ability to work in a matrixed environment, managing multiple and, often times, conflicting priorities
