Lead Cashier

Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions; complete end-of-shift reports and close-out procedures; enforce guidelines regarding restricted merchandise (e.g., alcohol, tobacco); maintain an organized work area; use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products; ensure quality service to every guest; handle guest complaints and issues per company processes, resolve team member conflicts, and communicate issues to management; determine break schedules and team member placement during shift; assist with other travel center tasks (deli, showers/restrooms, stocking, coffee); model behaviors aligned with the company’s purpose and ensure compliance with rules and procedures; perform additional duties as assigned; compensation includes pay starting between $11.54-$16.08 per hour, fuel discount, comprehensive medical plan, 401(k), FSA, tuition reimbursement, and weekly pay.
