Lead Cashier

Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions; supervise end-of-shift close-out procedures; ensure compliance with guidelines on restricted merchandise (alcohol, tobacco); maintain an organized work area; use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products; deliver quality guest service; handle guest complaints and issues per company processes; determine break schedules and team placement; assist with additional travel center functions (deli, cleaning showers/restrooms, stocking, making coffee); model behaviors aligned with the company's purpose and ensure staff and guests are supported at the highest level; ensure activities comply with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures; complete other duties as assigned; pay rate starts between $12.60-$17.85/hour with benefits including fuel discount, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, adoption assistance, tuition reimbursement, flexible schedule, and weekly pay.
